What crafts do you do? Patchwork, embroidery, quilting
How long have you been crafting? 50 years - since I was a child.
Who taught you your skills? Mostly self-taught but originally my mother with general sewing; patchwork course with Ruth Stonley of Patchwork Supplies in the early 1980’s.
Is crafting your hobby or your profession? Profession first and hobby second.
Do you teach/publish your skills and projects? We produce a huge selection of patterns for individual projects, Block of the Month programmes and other programmes for our business. I have taught in the Netherlands, Norway, England, and Ireland, as well as in Australia.
What do you love most about crafting? Creative outlet for myself; inspiring people to be creative.
What is your proudest crafting moment/achievement? The response to my quilt “An English Country Garden” first released in the U.K. at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham in 2013. We have almost 500 people from all round the world doing this as a BOM or making it from a kit.

Anything else that you would like to share? Our *Gift of the Month* programme is a bi-monthly mailout of a brand new, mystery gift project to our members over a twelve month period ~ six projects per year. Next year (2017) will be our ninth year of operation, and the club has become a favourite with our customers. We usually have around 300 members either new or renewing from previous years. The club is excellent value at only $39 + P&H per mailout.
